Did you ever want to quit your job and travel the world?

Then you’ve come to the right place.

 

Hello, and welcome to (paradise) our blog.

We are Po and Dee, 2 Saffas from Durban who recently decided to quit our cushy comfortable jobs as Forensic Investigators (fraud and corruption, no CSI shit - lol) to travel the world.

 

We don’t have a lot of money and assets to sell, besides my bakkie which is technically a liability, but for the sake of adventure we’re willing to be the guinea pigs for the rest of South African citizens - or whoever else that may be interested.

 

Our aim with this blog is to give you a very honest and open account of tips, recommendations, planning needs - high quality content and stunning imagery (well, we'd like to think so) about the good, the bad and the ugly from visa issues (and as you can imagine there are many when it comes to our Green Mambas), packing, money, places to eat, sleep, drink and be merry… Everything!

 

We will give you first-hand experience of this suspense-drama, coz we ourselves don’t really know what to expect so follow us to watch this drama unfold.

Yes, I know this might sound reckless for two mid-thirty-year-olds to decide but for all the family and friends reading this, you know that we are not necessarily the most conventional of people and societies expectations are not going down too well...Basically, we got tired of the rat race a long time ago and decided that we don’t want to waste any more time. So with the belief that we should live a life that you don't need a vacation from, we have decided to be the change we want to see in this world.

 

Don’t get us wrong, we know it will not always be unicorns and candy floss, but we are prepared for those, what would you call them? Hard times or Challenges? Either way they are experiences and for now, that's all that matters living, experiencing, growing.
